Docker Connects with Series C Venture Capital

   San Francisco, California  --  Software technology company Docker has secured $40 million in its third round of venture capital investment.

Docker is the company behind the open source Docker project that it believes is revolutionizing the way code is built, packaged and deployed.

Sequoia Capital led the round, which also included previous investors Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners, Insight Venture Partners, Trinity Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures and others.

The company said it would use the funding to drive adoption of its platform and to grow its ecosystem of developers.
