8tracks Lands Venture Capital Equity Funding

   San Francisco, California  --  Internet entertainment company 8tracks has landed $1.28 million in venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

8tracks provides a simple way for people to share and discover music through its online service.

Proceeds purposes were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

8tracks is still seeking $139,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
