Red Hat Launches Government Cloud Platform

   Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) announced the launch of a new consulting platform for government agencies.

Called Red Hat Cloud for Government, the solution provides a set of processes and tools that helps agencies manage and run cloud services through their own, existing data centers.

As part of the service, Red Hat will provide consulting services to agencies with assessments and access to a variety of cloud service providers to help agencies better manage their technology costs.

The company says that the new service will also enable agencies to comply with a wide variety of regulatory technology standards.
