Adeptia Launches New Data Connection System

   Chicago, Illinois  --  Data technology company Adeptia has announced the launch of its flagship application.

Called Adeptia Connect, the system is what the company calls the "first true citizen integration platform that gives business users the ability to instantaneously create data connections with customers and partners while providing the appropriate oversight for IT."

The application enables the IT department to set connection parameters for business users to automate connecting with and acquiring data from outside sources.

This promises to free up IT resources to focus on higher-level strategic initiatives.

The company cited a Gartner report predicting that by 2017 at least 65% of new integration flows will be developed by enterprise groups other than IT departments.
