Chromatin Adds $12 Million VC Investment

   Chicago, Illinois  --  Biotechnology company Chromatin has raised $12 million in venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Chromatin sells hybrid sorghum seed from its proprietary sorghum genetic pool.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Chromatin is still seeking $515,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.

Minimum investment size per investor was listed as $453.
