HumanAPI Raises Series A Venture Capital

   Menlo Park, California  --  Software developer HumanAPI has landed $6.6 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

HumanAPI is building an API for accessing data that has been gathered by various health devices, sensors and services.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

HumanAPI was incubated at AngelPad in San Francisco.

Company founder and CEO is Andrei Pop, who was previously based in Vancouver, BC.

John Malloy of BlueRun Ventures was listed on the filing as a company Director.
