Columbus, Ohio  --  Genomic data management company GenomeNext says it has launched a new sequencing analysis engine.

The GenomeNext Platform uses industry-standard toolsets combined with bio-informatics pipeline information to create an integrated solution that provides next-generation sequencing analysis.

The company has fully automated the analysis process via its standardized, deterministic analysis system and believes it has the potential to advance medical research and accelerate scientific discovery.

Researchers can upload data sets, perform genomic analysis and receive a recalibrated variant call file, an annotated filtered variant file and an annotated database file to facilitate their research purposes.

The SaaS delivered core solution was originally developed at Nationwide Children's Hospital by Dr. Peter White and associates.
