SnapRetail Snaps Up Venture Capital Equity Funds

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Software technology company SnapRetail has landed $1.05 million in new equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

SnapRetail has created technology that it says "makes it easy for independent retailers to market products, increase sales and compete with larger retailers."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

SnapRetail is still seeking $700,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.

Company backers include Adams Capital Management and undisclosed investors.

SnapRetail closed its Series A round in February 2011, in the amount of $6 million.
