FanDuel Launches Fantasy Sports iPad App

   New York, New York  --  Fantasy sports technology company FanDuel has announced the launch of its first iPad application.

The application enables the company's users to "draft lineups, enter paid and free leagues and seamlessly watch live scoring during games to track their rosters' progress."

FanDuel says that its previously launched iPhone application has already been downloaded 850,000 times, is used by more than 50% of active users and has a five-star rating.

The company claims to have in excess of 1 million active users.

FanDuel last raised $70 million for its Series D financing round from a syndicate of venture capital, private equity and strategic investors led by Shamrock Capital Advisors.
