MakerBot Announces Expansion Of 3D Ecosystem

   Las Vegas, Nevada  --  3D printing technology company MakerBot made a number of ecosystem announcements at the current Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

MakerBot announced new PLA Composite Filaments that simulate metal, stone and wood appearance for products made with the company's fifth-generation MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers.

A new division was also announced, called 3D Professional Services, that aims to provide customers with consulting, education, design and software applications for enterprises and schools.

Mobile True Remote Printing and Monitoring will be available in early 2015, helping users to print to any fifth-generation MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer from anywhere, anytime.

MakerBot also said it would include a sneak peek of some Martha Stewart for MakerBot Digital Store collections during CES 2015.
