Newton, Massachusetts  --  Wicked Bandwidth has announced the launch of a new fiber-based Internet service.

The new service will provide Internet connectivity initially to the Seaport Innovation District, chosen for its entrepreneurial community and high-volume of bandwidth intensive startups.

Wicked says that it is targeting buildings with limited bandwidth options in order to provide a meaningful premium alternative for bandwidth-intensive requirements.

Packages start at 10 Mb per second for solo or small businesses and go as high as 500 Mb per second for premium business users.

Service is available in 24 or 36 month terms.
