Foundation Launches Interactive Cancer Portal

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Foundation Medicine (NASDAQ: FMI) has announced the launch of the latest version of its cancer physician portal.

Called Interactive Cancer Explorer (ICE 2), the resource is aimed at enabling physicians to more efficiently provide patient care using the company's tests and enhance the utility of genomic profiling.

The latest version includes a feature called PatientMatch, which utilizes Foundation's database of more than 30,000 genomic profiles to leverage the functionality of its FoundationOne and FoundationOne Heme results.

The system also enables physicians to connect with other physicians treating patients with similar genomic/tumor profiles to securely share information.

The online portal was first launched in 2012 and is accessable from any computer, tablet or mobile device.
