Nissan Touts Driver Usage For All-Electric LEAF

   London, UK  --  Automaker Nissan of Europe said that European owners of its all-electric car travel significantly more miles per year than the European average for a traditional internal combustion powered vehicle.

Nissan LEAF owners Drive 10,307 miles per year on average versus 6721 miles for either gasoline or diesel internal combustion powered vehicle.

According to the company data, gleaned from the CarWings telemetry system on each LEAF, 89% of drivers charge overnight at home, enjoying a cost per mile of two pence or less.

The country of Spain is the top rated region by miles driven annually, at 11,858 on average.

Nissan says that more than 150,000 LEAF vehicles have been sold worldwide, of which 31,000 have been sold in Europe.
