Mobiquity Secures $5 Million New Venture Funding

   Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts  --  Mobile technology company Mobiquity has landed $5 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC filing.

Mobiquity is a mobile computing firm that architects, develops and deploys custom mobile solutions for the Global 2000.

The company focuses on creating enterprise mobile solutions to enhance commerce, customer behavior changes and dealing with the issues of the distributed workforce.

Longworth Venture Partners and NewSpring Capital participated in the financing.

Proceeds purposes were not disclosed by the company.
