17hats Adds $4 Million VC Financing

   Los Angeles, California  --  Software developer 17hats has received $4 million in new venture capital funding.

17hats has developed software for self-employed people which provides them with the ability to perform a variety of tasks and business operations all from one app.

The service is available with a free trial and has plans starting at $13 per month.

Wavemaker Partners led the round, which included a number of notable individual investors.

The company said it would use the funding to "expand development, marketing and education."
