Collective Health Collects Series C Funding

   San Mateo, California  --  Healthcare insurance technology company Collective Health has secured $81 million in its third round of institutional venture capital funding.

Collective is developing insurance plan administration technologies aimed at the employer-sponsored health plan market.

Investors in the round included Google Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Founders Fund, Maverick Capital, Redpoint Ventures and RRE Ventures.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its employer health solution beyond California to the entire U.S.

Collective's CEO Ali Diab has been with the firm since 2013.
