D3 Banking Banks $5 Million New Funding

   Omaha, Nebraska  --  Financial technology company D3 Banking has received $5 million in new venture equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

D3 has developed financial management tools that "automatically categorize transactions and create customizable budgets for customers."

The software promises to make it easier for consumers to identify and meet their financial goals.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

The filing indicates that the $5 million was the final tranche of a $12 million offering by the issuer.
