Gigsky Grabs $7 Million Venture Funding

   Palo Alto, California  --  Mobile technology company Gigsky has raised $7.1 million in equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC filing.

Gigsky is developing a global mobile network designed for travelers.

The service aims to provide international data coverage to give travelers the best service and pricing.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor were the proceeds purposes.

Gigsky is still seeking $8.7 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
