Benu Networks Nets Venture Equity Funding

   Billerica, Massachusetts  --  Wireless networking company Benu Networks has secured $4.4 million in new venture capital equity funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Benu says that it provides next generation edge technologies that enable operators to dynamically scale existing networks for home and business customers.

The company states that operators can "move complexity out of the CPE and into the network."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Benu was founded in 2010 and is backed by a syndicate of venture capital and strategic investors.
