Petnet Peels Off $4 Million New Venture Funding

   Los Angeles, California  --  Petcare technology company Petnet has raised $4 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

Petnet is developing a pet analytics platform and related devices to improve pet care for owners.

Investors in the round included Amazon, Aspiration Growth, Black River and iRobot.

The company said it will seek new retail distribution  in order to expand its footprint.

Petnet is now selling a "smart feeder" for dogs and cats that weigh up to 50 pounds in order to help owners avoid over or under feeding their pets.
