Flex Logix Garners Expansion Venture Capital

   Mountain View, California  --  Electronics technology company Flex Logix has landed $7.4 million in expansion stage venture capital investment.

Flex enables systems integrators to "keep your protocol, encryption, digital front-end up-to-date with the latest standards and customer/market needs" using its EFLX FPGA cores on SoCs.

Formation 8 led the round, was also included Eclipse Advisors, Lux Capital and other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its engineering and sales team, marketing efforts and other related initiatives.

CEO Geoff Tate co-founded the company in 2014.
