Flixel Photos Nets Seed Venture Capital

   Toronto, Canada  --  Digital technology company Flixel Photos has landed $2.2 million in seed stage venture capital investment.

Flixel has created a suite of web applications to enable image creators to host and share their HD quality cinemagraphs on the web.

Extreme Venture Partners led the round, was also included Cranson Capital.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its suite of products and build on its existing brand partnerships.

Flixel was cofounded by company CEO Philippe LeBlanc in 2011.
