CareSync Clears Series B Venture Capital

   Wesley Chapel, Florida  --  Software technology company CareSync has landed $18 million in its second round of institutional and strategic venture capital funding.

CareSync says that it "connects people and data to redefine the patient's role create a better healthcare experience for everyone."

The company's technologies promise to enable patients to build a better relationship with their doctor.

Investors in the round included the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Greycroft Partners, Harbert Venture Partners, Tullis Health Investors, Clearwell Group and other investors.

CareSync said it would use the funding to meet demand for its services enabled technology platform.
