Drip Drop Lands Equity Venture Financing

   San Francisco, California  --  Consumer technology company Drip Drop has received $3.7 million in new equity venture funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Drip Drop is developing an oral rehydration product for the prevention of and recovery from conditions caused by insufficient hydration.

The product contains three times the electrolytes and one half the sugar of most sports drinks, according to the company.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Drip Drop is still seeking $267,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
