EventBoard Raises First VC Round

   Salt Lake City, Utah  --  Software technology company EventBoard has landed $6.5 million in Series A venture capital funding.

EventBoard is creating a meeting room management and facilities analytics system to optimize the use of conference rooms and other shared spaces.

Greycroft Partners led the round, which also included Zetta Venture Partners and Origin Ventures.

EventBoard unveiled its platform concurrent with the funding announcement.

Company CEO Shaun Ritchie co-founded the firm in August, 2013.
