Alphaeon Lands Series B Venture Capital

   Irvine, California  --  Healthcare commerce company Alphaeon has raised a reported $70 million in its second round of private equity investment.

Alphaeon is developing a network of physician specialists to "improve patient experiences and outcomes in the wellness, beauty and performance sectors."

Hong Kong-based Sailing Capital led the round, which also included H&A Ventures, Longitude Capital and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises.

The company did not disclose how the proceeds from the financing would be used.

CEO Robert Grant founded the company in May 2012.
