Julep Beauty Collects Venture Capital Debt

   Seattle, Washington  --  Internet retailer Julep Beauty has landed $2 million in venture capital debt funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Julep has developed a website that sells beauty products and nail polish.

The company takes a social approach to product development by getting feedback from community members on what they wish to see the company sell.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Julep is still seeking $23,000 in additional debt investment, according to the filing.

CEO Jane Park founded the company in August 2006.
