MyHealthTeams Connects With $5 Million New Funding

   San Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company MyHealthTeams has landed $5 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

MyHealthTeams develops social networks for communities of people connected to those with chronic health conditions.

These support groups promise to help improve the overall support system for those with chronic conditions.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

CEO Eric Peacock co-founded the company in November 2011.
