Mountain View, California -- Ecommerce technology company Semantics3 has raised $1.55 million in new investment.
Semantics3 aims to make structured data from the Web more easily accessible. The company crawls, curates and merges data at scale from a variety of sources. Emerg.be led the round, which included Zillionize and other undisclosed investors. Company CEO Sivamani Varun co-founded the firm in December 2011. Semantics3 has raised a total of $2.15 million to date.
