Gimlet Media Raises New Venture Capital

   Brooklyn, New York  --  Digital media technology company Gimlet Media has received $5.4 million in new equity venture capital, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Gimlet produces high-quality narrative podcasts.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Gimlet is still seeking $718,000 in additional equity investment, according to the filing.

Company CEO Alex Blumberg was previously a producer at the popular radio show and podcast This American Life Radio.
