Edumedics Secures Series A Venture Funding

   Louisville, Kentucky  --  Healthcare services technology company Edumedics has received $4.2 million in its first institutional venture capital financing round.

Edumedics has technology that analyzes a companies wellness history and claims using its proprietary tools in order to provide best recommendations for managing healthcare costs.

The company also follows up with direct engagement with individual patients to improve outcomes.

Lunsford Capital led the round, which also included OCA Ventures, Enterprise Partners Venture Capital, Commonwealth Capital Ventures and others.

The company said it would use the funding to expand to other states from its existing footprint in Kentucky in Maine.
