Seattle, Washington -- Digital media technology company Pixvana has landed $6 million in institutional venture capital investment.
Pixvana says that it is "building a virtual reality and augmented reality video processing and delivery platform for media and entertainment applications." Madrona Venture Group led the round, which included other individual investors. Pixvana did not say how it would use the funding proceeds. CEO Forest Key founded the company and is previously from Booking.com, buuteeq and Microsoft.
