Atheer Closes Series B Venture Round

   Mountain View, California  --  Wearable  technology company Atheer has secured $14 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Atheer is developing a hardware and software platform for immersive, 3D wearable devices.

Signature Capital and Streamlined Ventures led the round, which also included FundersClub and RONA Syndicates.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its go-to-market activities.

CEO Alberto Torres has been with the company since August 2014 and was previously at Hewlett-Packard, Opera Software and Bang & Olufsen.
