American Fork, Utah -- Software technology company DemoChimp has secured $5.3 million in new equity venture capital, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
DemoChimp has developed a software as a service that "automates custom product demos to accelerate sales." The system personalizes video and related documents in order to increase relevancy for each individual prospect. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of 25 investors participated in the offering. DemoChimp is still seeking $2.26 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
