South San Francisco, California -- Mobile technology company PowWow has landed $3.7 million in equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
PowWow has created what it calls a "Virtual Application Delivery and Collaboration platform."
The system aims to enable enterprise users to avoid having to be tethered to their desktops in order to accomplish their work.
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
7 investors participated in the financing event.
PowWow is still seeking $550,000 in additional equity investment, according to the filing.
