Figma Raises Series A Venture Capital

   Palo Alto, California  --  Software developer Figma has secured $14 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Figma develops browser-based photo and design editing software.

The company aims for its software to become the "default tool for interface design."

Greylock Partners led the round which included previous investor Index Ventures  and other individual investors.

The company has issued an invitation for design teams to beta test its software system.
