Revolution Foods Receives $35 Million VC

   Oakland, California  --  Consumer foods company Revolution Foods has landed $35.2 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC filing.

Revolution says that it aims to "build lifelong healthy eaters by making kid-inspired, chef crafted food accessible to all."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Revolution was co-founded by Kristin Richmond and Kirsten Tobey.

The company is backed by a syndicate of venture capital firms.
