Accolade Raises $16 Million Equity Venture Capital

   Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania  --  Healthcare services technology company Accolade has landed $16 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Accolade says that it helps individuals and families improve their care by providing them access to their own Accolade Health Assistant.

The health assistant service is a single point of contact for health benefits or healthcare needs.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Accolade is still seeking $15 million in additional equity funding, according to the filing.

The company also recently named a new CEO - Rajeev Singh - and executive team members.
