Gemr Gets Venture Capital Funding

   Portsmouth, New Hampshire  --  Mobile application technology company Gemr has raised $2.525 million in equity venture capital financing, according to an SEC filing.

Gemr has created a mobile application that allows users to find, trade or sell an item by snapping a picture of it and sharing it with a community of interested parties.

The company is focused on developing communities of interest around personal items.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

A total of 5 investors made the investment.

Company CEO is Brannen Huske, who has extensive experience in the mobile and payments industries.
