Aventura Adds Series C Venture Funding

   Denver, Colorado  --  Healthcare IT company Aventura has received $14 million in its third round of institutional and strategic venture capital financing.

Aventura provides healthcare IT and workflow solutions for clinicians.

Lead investors were Safeguard Scientifics and the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund. 

Additional investors were Excel Venture Management, HLM Venture Partners and MemorialCare Innovation Fund.

The company said it would use the proceeds to expand sales and marketing, business development, customer support and accelerate product development.
