Akros Silicon Accepts Venture Capital Equity Funds

   San Jose, California  --  Semiconductor technology company Akros Silicon has received $6.3 million in venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Akros provides what it calls "leading-edge power management ICs that offers superior efficiency performance and advanced features to facilitate remote and intelligent network-based energy management."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Akros is backed by a syndicate of venture capital firms including U.S. Venture Partners.

The company CEO is Elie Antoun, previously CEO at AccelOps and entrepreneur in residence at El Dorado Ventures.
