ALung Launches New Hemolung Controller

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Medical device company ALung Technologies has announced the limited launch of its CO2 removal device.

The Hemolung CR4 Controller is part of the company's Respiratory Assist System that provides extracorporeal CO2 removal for patients suffering from acute respiratory failure.

The new controller retains all of the features of the previous generation controller, but includes a simpler to operate interface and process.

The device is smaller and can be more easily positioned near the patient's bed, features multidirectional routing of tubing and improved oxygen circuit for safety and reliability.

ALung said it will showcase the new controller at the upcoming International Symposium of Intensive Care in Emergency Medicine in Brussels, Belgium on March 17-20, 2015.
