Miovision Sees $30 Million Growth Venture Capital

   Kitchener, Canada  --  Traffic data technology company Miovision has secured $30 million in new venture capital financing.

Miovision has developed video technologies that help cities handle traffic better.

Investors in the round included Renewal Funds, Plaza Ventures, Comerica Bank and Investeco Technology Ventures.

The company did not say how funding proceeds would be used.

Miovision was co-founded by CEO Kurtis McBride, previously of Cypress Semiconductor and Nortel Networks
