Blume Distillation Bags Series B Funds

   Santa Cruz, California  --  Alternative energy technology company Blume Distillation has received $1 million in new venture capital funding.

Blume provides alcohol fuel production equipment that converts waste and surplus materials into alcohol fuel.

The Climate Change Investigation Innovation and Investment Company made the investment.

Blume said it would use the funds to accelerate its intellectual property filings and licensing.

In addition, proceeds will be used for the continued development and commercialization of its bio-refinery systems.
