Reliant Launches Home Security and Automation Tools

   Houston, Texas  --  Reliant Energy Retail Services has announced the launch of a new suite of home security and automation tools.

Existing retail electricity customers can add a customizable security package to their existing energy service.

The security solution provides 24/7 monitoring services and the ability to manage their home security in-person or remotely.

In addition, the company is also providing a home automation system that enables customers to use their mobile applications to connect via its dedicated gateway and communicate with appliances and lighting systems.

Reliant is a wholly-owned subsidiary of energy services company NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG).
