London, UK  --  Payments technology provider Azimo has announced the launch of a new money transfer service to China.

The new service is being rolled out to the European Union market and will enable customers to send any amount of money to China for just 1 Euro or British Pound.

Users will be limited to transferring money to personal bank accounts only, and not to business accounts.

The company says that according to The World Bank, China received an estimated $60 billion in remittances in 2013, making it the second largest receiver globally, behind India.

As part of the announcement, Azimo said that new customers will pay no fee on their first transfer.
