Whitepages Updates Caller ID App

   Seattle, Washington  --  Information technology company Whitepages said that it has redesigned and refreshed its Android application.

Called Whitepages Caller ID (FKA Current Caller ID), the new application provides features such as real-time location and photo sharing, Facebook and LinkedIn integration and identity control.

The system's main feature is that it identifies unknown callers by name, since 35% of calls to mobile phones come from numbers that are not in the recipient's address book.

The company says that it has a database of more than 600 million phone numbers, of which 250 million are mobile phones.

Whitepages Caller ID Is available as a free download on the Android platform and is expected to be published to the Apple iOS platform in mid-2015.
