Digital Signal Nets $10 Million Venture Equity

   Chantilly, Virginia  --  Security technology company Digital Signal has raised $10.5 million in venture capital equity financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Digital Signal provides 3D long-range facial recognition solutions for both government and commercial markets.

The company says that its technology is used by more than 90 million people worldwide.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Digital Signal is still seeking $19.4 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
