Capnia Collects Venture Equity Investment

   Redwood City, California  --  Medical device technology company Capnia has received $3.7 million in venture capital financing, according to an SEC filing.

Capnia is developing therapeutic products using its medical gas delivery system.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Capnia is backed by a syndicate of venture capital and strategic investors.

The company has raised at least $40 million in financing since 2004.
