iQ media Launches Consumer Behavior Intelligence

Austin, Texas  --  Media technology company iQ media has announced the launch of a new application that provides companies with insight into a variety of digital campaigns.

Called optiQ, the tool uses the company's library of historical and near real-time TV content and provides analysis of content watched on television paired with related conversations on Twitter, web traffic changes in sales and other important metrics.

The company says the tool takes advantage of its belief that up to 79% of US consumers watching television are also using their tablets, computers or smart phones while watching TV.

So it is only natural to want to understand the dynamics between these types of behaviors and how they impact company sales and awareness.

iQ media also announced a partnership with a Barcelona-based image and object recognition company, Catchoom, to further its capability to understand how users are sharing brand images and content.
